With it being International Beer Day, we wanted to share our top 5 breweries that we have come to know and love around Nashville! Hop right in to learn about the places you won’t want to miss when it comes to amazing beer and some of the most well-known breweries, not only in Nashville, but in Tennessee as well!

Bearded Iris

Known for their Homestyle IPA is the hot-spot, Bearded Iris! Nestled in the beloved Germantown neighborhood, this brewery gained its recognition through their delicious IPA’s. Bearded Iris invites anyone willing to indulge in their various drafts into their infamous and classy speakeasy while also being able to observe the equipment the beer is made through. Last year, the brewery opened their second location in Sylvan Supply, the newest development on the west side of Nashville! At this location you can expect to not only drink some of the best beers in town, but also eat some of the most infamous Ramen in Nashville thanks to the secret ramen house – Black Dynasty. It is hard to come up with a reason not to try Bearded Iris. After all, what is better than some of the best beer and ramen in Nashville all at your fingertips? 

Southern Grist

With two locations and a multitude of amazing beers to choose from, is one of Nashville’s favorites, Southern Grist. With twenty-five beers on tap, an expansive bar and wide-open patio, Southern Grist makes for the perfect spot for enjoying the people you love while also sipping on your favorite drafts. Yeehaw Brewing Co is one that is pretty hard to miss. Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, Yeehaw makes for the perfect spot to enjoy classic beers without having to leave the hub of the city. With several different locations in Tennessee and out of state, their location in Nashville draws plenty of attention as pedal taverns and various groups drive by with googly eyes at all Yeehaw has to offer. Their Nashville taproom is also known as 6th and Peabody and shares 30,000 square feet with Ole Smoky Moonshine and White Duck Taco Shop. With their two large screen TV’s and stages, this is the perfect place to meet up to watch a game or enjoy the various artists/bands they work to host. Fat Bottom Brewing Co

After opening their doors in 2012 as East Nashville’s first brewery, Fat Bottom Brewing Co quickly became a group favorite! The owner and founder, Ben Bredesen, started as an at home brewer and before he knew it, he had started one of Nashville’s most coveted breweries. After moving over to West Nashville, Fat Bottom Brewing Co quickly became a go-to hub for people to gather, create memories, and of course sip on amazing beers. If you are ever hoping to book an event, don’t overlook Fat Bottom Brewing Co as they work to offer their space for various events whether it is a private party or a wedding reception! Fat Bottom Brewing Co is definitely one that is hard to miss!
