As we enter the spring season we would like to do a deep-dive into all the new beginnings Nashville has to offer! Nashville is a vibrant, rapidly growing city that continues to bring new and exciting experiences to all who visit and live in Music City. Whether you are looking for a new art scene, or your new favorite spot to grab a bite to eat, there are plenty of places to choose from, all new or coming soon to Nashville!

The Art Scene

National Museum of African American Music

The NMAAM is dedicated to preserving and celebrating music created by or influenced by African Americans. The museum curates collections that integrate history and interactive technology so you can interact with musicians of the past. The NMAAM is located on Broadway in downtown Nashville, so if you are traveling, it is an easy addition to your museum tour.

The Lighthouse Artspace

The Lighthouse Artspace in Nashville just hit its first year anniversary this March, 2023. After one year of business, it continues to bring new artistic experiences to the Nashville community. The Lighthouse Artspace transformed a historic space into an immersive experience where art can come to life. Their current experience is of Disney Animation! It’ll take you on a journey from the early years of Disney to modern day Disney animations!

The Food Scene

The Nashville food scene offers a lot more than just hot chicken! There is truly something for every palate. Whether you are looking for a unique brewery, specialty coffee, cocktail, or gourmet meal, more and more food and beverage locations continue to pop up! Here are two we are excited to share with you. 

Harriet’s Rooftop

1 Hotel has just opened up Harriet’s Rooftop on its nineteenth story. This space includes over 7,000 SqFt that overlooks the city so you can enjoy the skyline views while sipping on specialty cocktails. The space has indoor and outdoor lounging and offers an elevated nightlife setting!

Southern Turf Building

The Southern Turf Building, while built in the 1880s, is soon to be the newest addition to Nashville! The Sinatra Bar and Lounge is opening its doors inside this iconic building in April this year! This bar and lounge will have a relaxing and upscale feel to it, serving Italian food and steaks.

Nashville Zoo

The Nashville Zoo is opening its doors this Spring to a new species… The Komodo Dragon! The Komodo Dragon exhibit is set to open Spring of 2023 and will be the largest Komodo Dragon exhibit in the Americas! Be ready to bring the whole family, as this is something all ages can enjoy!
