Marching Into Spring Activities in Nashville

March in Nashville is when the city starts to feel alive again. The winter chill eases up, the sun hangs around a little longer, and suddenly everyone wants to be outside. Patios fill up, parks start to bloom, and the live music calendar gets busy in the best way.

It’s that perfect in-between season where you can still layer up in the morning but end the day with dinner outside. March brings momentum: fresh starts, full weekends, and a reminder of why spring in Music City is so good.

If you’re looking for ways to soak it all in, here are a few of the best events happening around Nashville this March from Cheekwood in Bloom to St Patty’s Day events, to Spring Soccer games ramping up!

Cheekwood in BLOOM

Spring in Nashville would not be complete without a visit to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens during Cheekwood in Bloom. This annual celebration brings the gardens to life with beautiful flowers, guided tours, special events, and live music spread across multiple weekends each spring. In 2026, the festival runs from Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, April 12, and will honor America’s 250th anniversary with a Red, White & Blooms theme. Guests can wander through a stunning display of 250,000 red and white tulips, purple-blue violas, and fragrant hyacinths woven throughout the historic grounds. If you want to experience one of the most vibrant and photogenic seasons in Nashville, Cheekwood in Bloom absolutely deserves a spot on your spring to-do list.
