Option 1: Guitars, Grass & Good Company: Free Concert Series at Musicians Corner

One of Nashville’s favorite free concert series is back—Musicians Corner returns to Centennial Park starting August 29–31, then continues every Friday in September with live music, local food trucks, and family-friendly fun. This fall series features 35 performances across 7 dates, showcasing an eclectic lineup of artists from Nashville and beyond.Whether you’re discovering new talent or catching a longtime favorite, Musicians Corner offers the perfect way to wind down your week and enjoy live music in one of the city’s most beloved green spaces. And the best part, it’s totally free—just grab a blanket or lawn chair, and enjoy the sounds of Music City in the heart of the park.

Option 2: Songwriters Under the Stars at Cheekwood


This August, Cheekwood lights up its Swan Lawn for Songwriters Under the Stars, a two-night celebration on August 22–23 featuring top Nashville hitmakers Brett James, Trannie Anderson, and Tom Douglas, supported by the Music City Symphony. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the relaxed elegance of outdoor concerts under the open sky, complete with seasonal beers, wine by the bottle, craft cocktails, and tasty bites from local food trucks. It’s the perfect way to wind down summer with live music, great company, and unforgettable moments under the stars.

Option 3: Cornelia Airpark Concerts: Summer Nights, Live Music
Head to the historic Cornelia Fort Airpark in East Nashville for live music, food trucks, craft beer, and community vibes. This monthly concert series runs till August 23 from 5:30–9:00 PM, featuring three local bands each night. Tickets start at $20, and kids 15 & under get in free. All proceeds support Friends of Shelby Park—so you can enjoy great music while giving back. Bring a blanket and settle in for a perfect summer night under the stars.
