- Music City July Fourth 5k Race!
Kick off your celebrations with a morning workout at the Music City July 4th 5k race! All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Walk or jog past iconic Nashville landmarks like the new Music City Convention Center, and bring your family and friends along to cheer you on. This scenic course begins in the heart of the Edgehill community at E.S. Rose Park. You’ll then make your way downtown past Cummins Station and later head uphill where you’ll turn onto historic Music Row! Coast towards the finish back at E.S. Rose Park where you’ll meet your cheering squad. Every participant will receive a surprise giveaway item and a special commemorative medal upon completing the race. - Franklin on the Fourth
For those of you wanting to get away from the bustle of the city, head down to Franklin where you’ll find tons of festive activities for the entire family to enjoy! Franklin on the Fourth is a patriotic festival in Downtown Franklin featuring arts, crafts, food, entertainment, and more. The festivities kick off in the morning with the Patriotic Pet Parade at 10:30am and conclude with the Children’s Parade at 5:00pm. Come enjoy family fun, free games, and delicious food. Franklin on the Fourth will conclude with a fireworks display beginning at 9:00pm at the Tractor Supply Co. Arena at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm.

Grab your friends and family to enjoy an evening full of activities at the Adventure Science Center to celebrate the Fourth of July! From hands-on activities to outdoor games to a DJ, this event has it all. With plenty of live shows to choose from, whether it be science, magic, or laser shows, you and your children will have a blast! What better way to spend a warm summer night than watching our Nashville sounds play the Memphis Redbirds. As you wait for your favorite firework shows to begin later at night, come see the game with friends at First Horizon Park. Snack on some hot chicken from Hot or Not Chicken stand down the third-base line or grab a burger from Music City Grill near home plate. - Let Freedom Sing! July Fourth Show in Nashville
Find a front seat at one of the largest firework displays in the country, right here in Music City! This year for its 40th anniversary, “Let Freedom Sing” is putting on a special, never-before-seen firework and drone show to celebrate! Accompanied by live music from the Grammy-winning Nashville Symphony, this is definitely a must-see event. Let Freedom Sing is free and open to the public, and features plenty of amazing artists like YOLA and Girl Named Tom, headlined by Chris Young. If you’d like to take a step back from the action, consider watching the fireworks from your own personal kayak floating down the Cumberland River or atop the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge!
